Moonlight pours into the tiny room through its large, open window, illuminating its modest contents. A worn desk sits against the eastern wall, parchment, quills, utensils, and books organized in a neat but wanting manner on its face, as if waiting for some important task to be resumed right where it was hastily left. A shoddy trunk to its left takes the remainder of the wall, shut tightly.
Against the opposite wall –only several feet away- rests a small daybed that extends toward the window, covered tidily in elegant, blue, silk sheets and several small pillows. By its side, a small table holds a number of arrows, sharpening stones, and a dagger. The rest of the tight space houses makeshift shelving, upon which are kept an assortment of items; several stacked books, pots of small plants and mushrooms that emit a faint blue light in the dimness, and small baskets and boxes of what one could assume were minor spell or medicinal components, among other things.
The walls display several drawings and etchings on parchment stuck loosely with arrowheads, depicting unknown scenery, indistinguishable faces, and indecipherable writing. There is a graceful aesthetic to them, though they seem mostly like sketches scrawled out in fleeting distraction than meticulous works of art.
At night, the abnormally bright glow from the moon creates an almost dreamy feel that one can sense emanating from beyond the door, along with a calming aroma of something akin to lilac.

*No sound of movement can be heard behind the door, but after a moment it swings open gently and Layella stands gazing in answer.*

I was wondering if you had any books on the elven schools of magic?

*she pauses, looking hard at the wizard as if unable to make up her mind, until finally she speaks*
I haven't much that I'd taken with me from my homeland. Most of such works would be found with my people and not lightly shared, but... I know I do have one, though it won't be of much practical use.

*smirks* That might be a necessary task prior to reading. One moment.
*leaving the door slightly ajar, she disappears into the faint glow of the room. Some shuffling sounds can be heard, and she reemerges a moment later clutching a thick, ornately bound book. 'Arselu'Tel'Quess' is engraved on its face in Elven script.
Dirthara-ma. *she smiles as she offers it.*
